Data:
1. A forest tribe living on an island
2. Geography inspired by current Socotra (an island near Yemen)
3. Closely connected with nature
4. High intuition, ability to partly foresee future
5. Low eye-sight, low haptic sensitivity, high hearing, high olfactory
Step 2 : Moodboarding and Ideation
Scope:
1. Aesthetic Research
2. Geography research
3. Decision-making on texture, color palette, patterns
Step 3 : Modelling
Scope:
1. Experimenting with tools in Zbrush, Maya & Substance Painter.

Step 4 : 3D Printing
Scope:
1. Collaborating with an M. Eng. student specializing in additive manufacturing.
2. 3D Printing the model using the method of Material Jetting.
Conclusion
Learnings about self:
I like watching an art piece materialize with time as I experiment more, rather than constructing a pre-planned design.
Other Learnings:
1. Research, planning, and moodboarding go a long way in saving time and effort when 3d modeling.
2. Story development with new media technologies should be flexible and have space for modification based on the affordances of the technology/medium being utilized. In this case, Suri was supposed to be a human but slowly developed into this fantastical being because I allowed it to interact with the medium.
