Light! Oh, Light!

Light! Oh, light! show me my men.

fill my mind, bring me my kin.

the night has slept, I'm stepping out,

watch me reach out, light, hold my hand.

together they chirp, together they graze,

together we act, men, follow my pen.

risen, awake, dressed, willing,

joined, warm, at ease, healing.

whoever, however, wherever, whenever,

show us, oh light, show us our men.

today we did thrive, your blessing, amen.

you will leave and we will return now

to our homes, again me and my men.

where have I come, how do I begin,

why am I ending, orange seeps into my den.

stay with me, light, please dont leave me again.

Bring me, oh light, do bring me to my men.
