Step 1 : Research & Itinerary

Objective:

To create an advertisement video log for a state tourism board resort in Maharashtra, with inclusion of possible tourist destinations within its vicinity.

Scope:

1. Research about the area's tourism potential and promotable aspects.

2. Brainstorming possible ideas with the team.

3. Creation of a dense itinerary to cover multiple locations within 36 hours.

4. Co-ordination with MTDC officials.

Step 2 : Shooting

Scope:

1. Travelling to multiple locations within 36 hours.

2. Ideating possible shots quickly after reaching the location.

3. Shooting the resort and tourist destination within 100 kms.

Conclusion

Learnings about self:

I can handle rigourous routines and excessive workload when I am required to.

Other Learnings:

1. Always carry appropriate replacement parts for drones and other equipment.

2. Do not underestimate the amount of fatigue a 24-hour shoot can produce.

3. Carry hard disks and regularly back up content shot in the day.

4. Deligate minute mechanical tasks to helping hands and yourself focus on the creative aspect.

Step 3 : Script-writing and Post-production

Scope:

1. Sort out content from more than 5 different locations and filter good shots.

2. Write a script based on the whole experience that conveys the vibe of the destination.

3. Beat-synchronizing the clips, adding appropriate background music, color-grading and rendering.
